so my honda civic was at the dealership getting some work done. i picked it up today after the service center hours had passed. they left the key at the front desk of the showroom for me since that was open a bit later.

now when i got the car, I noticed two spots on the door with paint chipped away. they're both about the size of a pea and very noticeable. these weren't light scratches, but deep niks and you can see the metal. 😡

here's the breakdown though:
1. XYZ Honda, XYZ Nissan both owned by XYZ Company
2. took civic to XYZ Nissan since it was close. they couldnt fix and suggested towing to XYZ Honda. I used they're recommended but non-affiliated towing company to tow from XYZ Nissan to XYZ Honda (50 miles away).
3. XYZ Honda fixed it, but I see paint chipped. can't prove if it was dealer or towing company.

i have to call the service manager tomorrow to see what he thinks of this. what recourse do i have to help in this situation? am I SOL? since they were closed at time of pick up, I couldn't show it to them at the time.

i will call the service manager in the morning... but have a feeling that they will just try to say it was on my part (which it wasnt) :\
