Does anyone work there or now how they get their rice so tasty? It sometimes has a limey taste to it and is really good. They say they just sprinkle lemon and lime juice on it but it never taste the same when I do it?

MMMMMMMM Chipotle. I haven't had a YUMMY burrito from them in awhile. But onto your question. I think they use some cilantro, lemon and lime juice I was thinking light light salt.

I'm really hoping to find out the exact mix because when you get that batch of rice that has just a tad extra of whatever that mix is, it taste really good.

Wow, I never post in OT yet here is a thread I'm very interested in. :)

Chipotle is a great burrito place. On their drink cups they do have descriptions of how they prepare most of their foods (beans, barbacoa, salsas, etc.). The rice definitely has cilantro, lime juice, and salt mixed in to it. There have been two times that I can remember where the rice was overly salted to the point that I had to remove most of the rice in my burrito.

There still may be something else in it, perhaps the secret, addictive ingredient that makes me go back there all the time. :)

They've opened a few locations here in the Northern Virginia area over the past few months. I haven't had a chance to visit one, though.

There are a bunch in Colorado, where they first started, and then California, Ohio, and a few other states inbetween have them. Check out their website, it is pretty cool.

I think McDonalds only owns a part of them. Its a good idea for them since it seems to be a very money making buisness. I have gone there before and saw people lined up outside the door. Get this, a manager there said that one guy comes in three times a day and eats 3 at a time!! :Q

yep, around lunchtime here, the line goes out the door. Good thing that there menu is simple so people dont have much choice of what to get, just their choice of ingredients. I usually pick up a burrito there about once every 2-3 days on my way to work
