i was wondering what kind of material you can use to clean the chip surface on a celeron 2 566. i accidentally got my sweaty hands on it.

Rubbing Alchol (I use 99.99% Stuff, Electronic Grade) is one of the best and safest cleaners. Use a soft toothbrush to get in between all the pins and any lint free cloth, or Qtip for the other surfaces.

300 Grit sandpaper works well. Rub it furiously on the chip die. I guarantee you won't see any sweat on it anymore...


Use a tissue dude. Or rubbin alcohol works wonders. Lick it clean if you want it spit shined....

can you use nylon to cleaan the chip? i cant find any rubbing alchohol.
