chip or slot processors

I was wondering what format of processors are better. I'm mostly concerned about pentium III's. Are slot 1 processors better? or are flip chips better? Which ones are most stable? Which ones are best to overclock? Thanks for ur replies!

Get an FC-PGA - it offers greater long run flexibility, since you can use one in either a Slot-1 or Slot-370 board, while a SECC2 only goes in a Slot-1 mobo. Here's what I just did. The ASUS S370-133 FC-PGA converter card I got at CompuCheap works reliably with most mobo's.
