Chip on the Duron core..is it bad?

When i was installing my GlobalWin FOP 32-1, a little piece came off the Duron core (the corner) is this bad? It still works, but will it effect the chip much in the future? Will a copper shim be a good idea to put on to prevent fruther damage?

And if, in the event that the chip does fail, can i get it replaced? After all I was using a AMD recomended CPU.

don't worry yourself over this as it's working! 🙂
you just have to remember to be extra careful if you have to remove & replace the hsf.
