I just purchased this chip from newegg.
I'm pretty sure it will work with my MSI KT2 Combo motherboard, but the manual says "600Mhz to 2600Mhz and higher".
Specifically, my MB only supports 266FSB, but the chip is rated at 333FSB. Does this mean that the chip multiplier is 6.25? So if I plug it in and turn it on will my chip only register at ~1.6Ghz. If I increase the chip multiplier to ~7.5 to get it back close to its native speed, this shouldn't cause problems elsewhere right?
