Chinese text in Firefox

I'm Building a basic system for some relatives and their main usage will be reading chinese text online.

However, I'm not very familar with this, and can't seem to get Firefox or Opera to read the text properly.

I did get IE to work by installing this program called "NJ STAR",

But...I really would like to be able to get Firefox to read the text properly.
I've tried downloading the language pack from Firefox's website. NO success.
anyone have any solutions?
