Details from Korean sources:
So the plane crashed into a mountain by the city of Kimhae, at the southern tip of the peninsula.
The plane had 136 Koreans and 19 "foreigners" (mostly Chinese).
So it left Beijing and tried to land at Inch'on (the only international airport in Korea, as I recall) but it was too foggy so they detoured to Kimhae airport and tried some sort of "emergency" landing (the article is a bit unclear to me about this one).
Approximately 10 minutes after the estimated arrival time, it crashed into the Mount Sin-o.
Since 8:30am, the Inch'on airport did not allow landing of any planes with more than 150 passengers as it was too foggy.
They were mostly travellers. There were about 25 survivors so far.
