Chinese for dinner...

Cjm and I had chicken and broccoli from a local Chinese restaurant for dinner. I also ordered hot and sour soup and she ordered egg drop soup. While I like egg drop soup, I LOVE hot and sour soup.

What do you order from Chinese restaurant?
 
Sweet and Sour hot soup ftw! My mom makes it the best, main ingredients being Sprouts, Pineapple, and Fish!
 
Depends ... lately I've been getting pork with snow peas in garlic sauce, my favorite is Genral Tso's chicken, but not everyplace makes it the way I like it.

I always get pan-fried pork dumplings plus hot & sour soup with wontons added though... yumm! 🙂


Edit: I also really like crispy whole fish with black bean sauce.

hot & sour soup is very difficult to do well...or at least around here. With my parents trying out every Chinese restaurant in a 30 mile radius, I've tried a lot. Granted, it is Michigan.
 
fried squid :heart: seafood generally isn't my thing but the awesomeness of fried squid cannot be described with words

hot & sour soup is my favorite soup too
