Chinese food is not filling

I had a full plate of chicken lo mein and pork fried rice at 12:30 and I'm starving again.

Time to eat the egg roll I saved from lunch. :Q

Wow...you finally got the memo...this is like that time that the post office found a letter that had been stuck in a box for like 60 years and delivered it.

When I order take-out, I ALWAYS get a meat item. Sesame chicken, general tso, and garlic pork are my favs. No sense in getting something that isn't worth the money and fillingness :D

I should have done that. Two weeks ago I went to the same place and got General Tso's Chicken and I didn't even have to eat dinner that night.

noodles and rice ? Where's the meat ? Try a sesame chicken combo that comes with egg-roll or soup. Lay off the MSG though.

What's wrong with MSG? FDA put it in the same safety category as Salt (correct me if I'm wrong here). There is no evidence approriate amount of MSG is harmful.

I think you've got it wrong. You say it's not filling but yet you saved the egg roll out of it for later? And that's 2 hours after eating it and you say you're now hungry. That happens with all kinds of foods for me! :) And my friend is convinced, er rather he has this theory that chinese places put some kind of "filler" in it to fill you up but what do you think happens when you eat this huge container of rice and chicken (all the chinese places I know of give you a huge serving of food) you might just get filled ya know, LOL I'm just like yeah ok sure.

Seriously. If you need to watch your MSG intake from Chinese food, you better not eat any delivery pizza, KFC, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Wheat Thins, Chicken-in-a-Biscuit, Pringles, etc. etc. The list goes on and on. Everyone uses MSG. Not just Chinese people.

Sheesh.
