Good lord as if 12 year old gymnasts weren't bad enough, did anyone catch boxing today? Absolute atrocity of officiating whenever a Chinese athlete is involved. The cheating was so bad the commentators gave up giving analysis of the match and just talked about how bad the cheating was for the Chinese.

Good job China, way to represent what the Olympics are all about. Fucking cheaters.
 
I'm not watching the Olympics, but I do hear everyone talking about the cheating. Isn't there any protection again this?

Well, they have officials from other countries doing the officiating. They were commenting on that during the gymnastics - all of the top gymnastic countries were in the finals, so the officials were all from lesser countries, meaning the officiating was not as good as it could have been.

Any event that is scored subjectively (Diving, Gymnastics, boxing, etc) are subject to poor judging, corrupt Judging, cheating and bribery. Therefore, it is better to not get one's undies in a bunch over it.

actually he is right. i been bitching about boxing scores since it started. its so fucked it its silly.

i have seen matches where one guy has zero scores even when eh is beating the shit out of the other. hell seen one where a guy knocks down his openent with a great shot and the guy that got knocked down got the point!

its just terrible.
 
Of course the boxing is fixed for the home country. Go watch the Roy Jones Jr and Park Si-Hun fight from the 88 Seoul Olympics and then try to say Olympic boxing isn't fixed. Boxing in general is dirty, but Olympic boxing is the worst.

after that fight they went to a "electric" scoring. wich really does nto help since people have to hit a button withint 1 second if they think its a score.
 
You made this exact post in the official Olympics thread, why did you make another new thread on it and then once again fail give to any details as to which fight you're watching?

Was is this fight? Because that's the only fight I see that China won today.

Seen several kicks in taekwondo that sent the other player to the ground, but weren't scored. You can take all judging in this Olympics with a grain of salt.
