I remember there is a small town (I once watched on TV) that near Beijing or so that keep these old town style, with water around it (like Venice)... may be someone can provide the name.
 
BE VERY CAREFUL from who/where you buy bottle water from. Alot of immoral vendors in China will sell you faucet water as bottle water. They just collect empty bottles and fill them up with tap water and reseal the cap with glue/heat-gun. When you want to get bottle water, make sure you goto super-markets or some place reputable. DO NOT ever buy bottle waters from street vendor in china.

Razor2025, Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. My brother was there some times ago and he got really sick after drinking local water. He had to visit bathroom on hourly bases for 2 weeks after he got back from the trip.

Yes, I am traveling with a group tour of 10. All expenses are paid (flight, 4 or 5 star hotels, food: breakfast, lunch & dinner). The only thing excluded is TIP for our Tour guide.
