An interesting article about indications of future hostility by China against Taiwan. here.

I know that these type of forward looking speculations are considered amazing if they come to pass, but quickly forgotten when nothing happens. *shrug*, good doomsday reading.

Bah, China will never invade Taiwan. First, Taiwan is so fortifide that doing it will result on heavy losses on both sides. And second, China WANTS Taiwan... they want it's economic and industrial structure... invading it will most likely destroy those, and what use would that be? Not only do you lose the reason why you want it, you also turn the locals towards you, and they'll hate you. They want a peaceful transition like Hong Kong.

I'm confident Taiwan will return back to China in time... maybe 10-15 years, when they start to see that Hong Kong actually does well under China, they'll see that so can they.

This is not a fake story about the weaponry boys. You will just have to trust me on it.

I dont know about the year, I think they are relating it to the final sale of Rocket torpedos and nuclear attack subs.

But those Rocket Torpedos are VERY REAL.

Remember the Russian sub that sunk from an explosion off the coast of Norway?

Ever wondered why they wouldn't let the US help?

They were testing that new Torpedo.

The plain fact is though, that article was written by a manipulater whom is trying to prey upon naive people whom sit around and read that kind of BS......and quite possibly believe it! If your going to refer to me, I would ask that you spell my name right.

And I feel sorry for you. What I said was that I was not sure about the year of attack but it DOES correlate with the sale of Rocket Torpedos and 9 Nuclear Subs sold to China.

I'm basing it on facts, you on your own belief. There is a difference.

I wouldn't be surprised. China has already openly stated that WWIII will be inevitable because of competing systems (just as was the case with communism, facism, and freedom in WWII). They have stated that it should be their political leaders responsibility to try and put it off until the next century, but that, nonetheless, it will be inevitable.

How's that for scary??
