Nope, no conflict of interest here!

The Chinese government gave provisional approval to Ivanka Trump's company for at least two trademarks April 6, according to Chinese trademark documents reviewed by CNN.

That day, Ivanka Trump dined with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mar-a-Lago, noted The Associated Press, which first reported on the trademarks.

The AP said three had been filed, including one for jewelry. CNN has confirmed two of the three -- one for spa services and one for bags.

most corrupt presidency ever, and we aren't even 100 days in.

the worst part of all this is that there will be litigation due to all of this for years and years, if not decades to come.

China can do whatever the hell it wants to it's own laws, but as usual, this looks and smells horrible for this ridiculous admin.

To be fair the way I view it is these trade marks belong to her anyways. China likes to copy stuff, they even copy landmarks. I heard they built a copy of the London Bridge(?) recently.
I highly doubt there was an Ivanka Trump native Chinese shoe maker before the person named Ivanka Trump started making shoes.
This doesn't mean I'm not concerned about our policy being traded for logos or cheap land it just means this isn't the right thing to start a fight over.

You shut your whore mouth.

No administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days.

Seriously. Trump said that yesterday.

It's surprising how many Americans are willing to set aside their belief to individual property rights in order to follow the party line.

Michael Jordan broke the floodgates on trademarks in China, everybody else receiving their trademarks has just been the domino effect.

It would be an absolute genius move for the chinese to publicize this. Makes Trump/Murica look weak as shit for their leader to predictably fall all over this sort of quid pro quo.
