Microsoft sold out of copies Windows XP within two hours of its official launch in Hong Kong last week, the company claimed, but copies of English and Chinese versions of Windows XP were already available in many shopping malls.

lol year 2001 article. Of course it's still going on... the difference between here and there is that the internet is more prominent amongst us... at least it was back then.

When I went to the computer area of HK (I forget the name of it)... they had stores among stores in the "mall" which had pirated copies of software on shelves. $2... $3... have at it.

They do! About a year ago, this underground company made prirate baby milk powder that had no nutrents at all. Those babies who took it suffered from 'head expansion' syndrome and died. Another case was a fake beer that also caused people to die.
