i think the chinese people are very much like us americans. its their government that is whacked, and we admit ours is fucked too. which means we really dont need a strong military unless we find aliens to fight. because if our governments do declare war on each other, the people on both sides will probably just use the internet to declare war on the governments.

1. The Chinese government is FAR worse off than ours in terms of overall corruption.

2. China has shown a willingness to literally roll over it's citizens with tanks.

3. You're underestimating propaganda and nationalism.

4. Egypt shut down the internet. China already has a country-wide-firewall going. And words do not win wars, they only win elections in Democratic countries. China is not democratic. They can and will, legally no less, imprison, shoot or otherwise disappear anyone who challenges their power.
