the reason why massive number of Chinse want to come to NA is NOT because of politics, it's because of the better living. you are deluding yourself if you think politics play ANY part at all for 99% of them, although that is often used an excuse if they apply for refuge status. a friend of my dad applied for refuge because he said he was opressed by the chinese governemtn because of his religions, what a lie.

I can't imagine that 99% of a billion people don't care about who leads them. That would be very pitiful if it's true, which I can't imagine it is.

No I'm not. Realize that I've only lived in the US for three years. I think that some of the fear people have of their government is illfounded and paranoid.

Wrong agian, most (99.9%) Chinese coming to the west simply come for the high living standard, not the political systems.

And I wonder what affords that higher standard of living? A higher standard of living is not something separate from the political system. They are intertwined. People come from China to the US, Canada, england, France, etc., because the US/others are better countries. The political system is part of that.

they are banning all sorts of things. i rememeber this show on npr where they talked about how certain names/words are not allowed in chat rooms. people get around it just by using code words or indirectly refering etc😛 its pretty stupid and futile.

as for smut, i'm sure what the chinese gov is doing gives ashcroft a hard on.
