It appears china is building some kind of a base of operations where it can dock ships and maybe with a runway in the south China sea in an area where there are reefs and rocks. They are dredging up the coral and making a land mass that might be large enough to build an airstrip.
Maybe China wants to take over the world. China polluted much of its own land and now it want to take all the fishing rights form people in the south China Sea. I think China sees this as a fight for survival to feed its people.
Many countries have turned to the sea for both fish farming and oil production. One bad oil spill could cause major problems in the area.
