China Accidentally Broadcasts Evidence of Cyberwar Against U.S.

Haha, that photo looks so fake. Anyone could create a little window with a scroll bar and some Chinese characters and a couple of buttons, one of them the "Attack!" button. 24 does better. If this video truly does exist, I would find it more likely that a disgruntled Chinese government worker stuck the image in hoping to undermine his own country.

Will the U.S. wait until China steals schematics that allow it to build its own F-22s to act?

Yes, they already have.

I think it's a good thing that the Chinese are attempting to build something comparable to our F-22's. Because while they're doing that, our developers are already designing and implementing the next generation of fighters from what we've learned from developing the F-22.

If anything, the Chinese effort is pushing our own development teams to go farther and faster than they usually would.

The eternal arms race goes on.

Dude, the Cold War is over, the F-22 is already putting us in heavy debt, let alone "next generation". Deployed in 2005 and haven't even seen the action yet!

That's a problem with the military. The itch to use it.

Reminds me of a couple things. Thomas Jefferson saying how tempted leaders are to use a standing military, if they have it, so it's important they not have it.

Madeline Albright saying to a horrified Colin Powell, 'what good is your big shiny military if we can't use it?'

A special ops soldier I saw say, about his service that did not involve killing, that 'he wasn't saying killing people is great, but how would you feel if you trained for a sport and didn't get to play it?' That helps show how deeply the indoctrination goes removing the moral concerns about killing, just accepting any order to kill are 'bad guys' so it's ok.

Whatever military we have, it's better for it not to be used than have to be use, much less be used unnecessarily. It also reminds me of old Teddy Roosevelt type quotes how 'good' war is for the 'spirit of a country', or the Neocon saying the US should attack weaker countries periodically just as a reminder to the world that it can.

Don't complain weapons systems are not used. That's a good thing.

If the chinese didn't steal they'd still be flying around biplanes. You cannot honestly cut it in any way that their rampant theft of knowledge in all arenas is a good thing for anybody but them.

America needs to wake up and smell Cold War 2.0 with the Chicoms. It's already started but at least if we formalize it we may quit sending jobs over there...

No such animal, one ends up bankrupt and the other in debt, just ask the old soviet union.

I'll let you guess who ends up bankrupt this time:whiste:

Who needs evidence... China has already shown their ability to redirect internet traffic to their infrastructure.

Nice try, China man.
