This monitor is the cheapest WS 22" LCD at newegg.

It just seems too good to be true...I read some reviews from some random sites I googled and they were positive. Granted I'm not expecting professional quality from it (want it only for gaming, movie watching and web browsing), so it seems to perform well for the price.

Anyone have any experience / thoughts about it? It apparently supports 16 million colors but there's no mention of doing so by dithering...the contrast ratio doesn't seem too shabby either.

Feedback is appreciated 🙂

Cool. They spelled it Chi Mei so that's why my searches didn't return any hits, haha.

Thanks unfalliblekrutch; that's exactly what I was looking for.

They're branding the stuff "Mirai" over here in Europe, and just like in the US ruin the prices for everyone else 😀
$300 including the DVI cable is one hell of a bargain for this fine 22" monitor. Mind that they're all "class-II" panels, not guaranteed to have zero defective (sub-)pixels ... just like almost all other consumer monitors btw.

I considered it when I purchased my Samsung 225BW. I was able to see one in person though and was not impressed. All of the colors seemed dull and the picture was grainy from any viewing angle.

After seeing it and my Samsung side by side I went with the Samsung.
