Weinerschnitzel has a new 99 cent menu, I tried the Chili Cheese Fry Burrito and it was pretty good. Their chili is decent, and with the fries + tortilla you get carb city so it's pretty damn filling for a buck. It's nowhere near as delicious as Taco Bell's Chillitos(sp?) are, but the T.B's in California don't seem to carry those anymore (I can't find em!)

I'm very tempted to try that now, just need to find a wienerschnitzel. They closed down the one I went to and turned it into another Starbucks.

I wouldn't go out of my way to try it now I have, but if I'm around one and want to fill up for cheap I think I found the new 99 cent king.

Their chili is weird, it's not bad tasting, I actually like it, but there's something off about it I can't put my finger on.

Are you saying this is literally a burrito with chili cheese fries inside?

It's more of a tortilla with their fries and a bit of chili and hceese.

yes, it's half the price of the chili cheese fries, not sure how much less it has in it than an order of fries by themselves. But it seems pretty big for a buck. Lord knows nobody needs to eat a burrito with fries in it that's carb overkill. But all that leads to something that will fill you up for cheap. I'd love to see a more expensive version with no fries and more chili though.

Outside of it being in a tortilla this is in no way a burrito, it's typical American bastardization of another cultures food.

When you (or people in general) make mention of carbs, is it because you are specifically on a carb diet (like Atkins) or do you think about carbs as part of your regular daily routine. Like you see a burger and you think "man that bread has some mighty carbs there. I better not eat it."

It's a serious question. I can't imagine just not eating what you want, as long as it's within reason.

My diet is horrible, I eat junk, junk and more junk. But when I'm eating a tortilla filled full of French Fries I think carb overkill. It would be like eating a pizza with breadsticks as a topping.

That said I like carbs so I'm fine with it :)
