Child's Play is a charity founded by the Penny Arcade webcomic guys that buys books, toys and games for kids in children's hospitals and women's shelters to make their life a little less painful.
You can either use the Amazon give registry lists they've set up to buy toys directly for a hospital, or give Child's Play some paypal to divide among all the hospitals. No money goes through me, except that I match your donations by buying more toys.
Newer ATOT members haven't had much Interest in the annual Child's Play drive but let's try this one last year.

What to do:
1. Go to the Child's Play website - http://www.childsplaycharity.org/
2. Either donate cash or pick a hospital from the map and buy items from their Amazon wish list. Cash goes to CP to split across all hospitals, toys go directly to the hospital. Nothing goes through me.
(Be careful about the shipping destination, it should go to the hospital not to you.)
3. Send me a PM with details and post in this thread to share your Santa-ness with others. (If you want you can just PM me and ask to remain anonymous.)
What NOT to do:
- Don't buy used items, the hospitals can't give used items to the sick kids.
- Don't wrap the gifts, the hospitals need them new and unwrapped.
- Don't pay for shipping, the hospitals need these gifts year-round since kids arrive all year. Spend the money on an extra toy instead.
Donation matching:
I'll be matching a straight 15% + an extra $20 if you donate at least $35. So if you donate $35 I match you $25.25, if you donate $50 I match you with $27.50.
