Child's Play 2009 starts now!

Child's Play is a children's hospital charity founded by Gabe & Tycho of Penny Arcade. The goal is to show that gamers are caring people not GTA thugs, and to help a lot of sick kids take their minds off of a scary hospital stay with books, toys and games.

We aren't taking any money here, you go to the official Child's Play page, pick a hospital, and start buying whatever toys and games you want from an Amazon.com gift registry. Buy new items only and don't pay to wrap items.

Once you've made a donation, post a message here to boast of your santa-ness and PM me, or just PM me if you want to be anonymous. I'll update the tote board at least a couple of times a day, be patient since I'm supposed to be working

Make your donation go farther
- If possible, use free super saver shipping, the toys and games do not need to arrive by Christmas, the kids need them year-round
- Look for deals like buy-3-get-1-free on books
- Don't pay for wrapping. The hospitals need new, unwrapped items.
- You can donate by PayPal instead of using the Amazon gift registries but PayPal fees apply.

Donation matching
I'll be matching a straight 10% + an extra $15 if you donate at least $25. So if you donate $30 I match you $18, if you donate $50 I match you with $20.
