Just thought I would promote a friend! :D

Warning to some: Yes, he sings opera. So if you don't like it, don't click on the link below.

Just some info on him...

Started HS choir about the same time as me (I was a Jr and he was just coming in).

The next year we both went to State.

He wasn't really that good then, but he has a ton of talent and really progressed (with some tips and encouragement from myself).

He ended up singing with me for a semester in my school's top choir, and started lessons with the head vocal instructor at TCU, both at the age of 16, where he just exploded!

He graduated last spring, was easily accepted into Curtis Institue of Music, and immediately started taking from their head vocal instructor. The same guy that people of Pavarotti's caliber learned from.

Also, that's something that has never happened in the school's history - a freshman vocal student has never come in to Curtis and started taking from the head vocal instructor right away.

Needless to say, we are all very proud of him! :D

Enjoy!

Can barely hear those clips, the normalization or gain or whatever is way too low in the mix.

I think it's a live and non-professional recording. Maybe from a video camera or something. It was a bit disappointing.
