Williams, who admitted throwing Gibson on the sidewalk, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Already serving alife sentence for murder in an unrelated case, Williams, 21, faces a year in prison for the assault.

So one of the guys involved killed someone else? These vigilantes don't sound so great...

It would definitely suck if he had turned out to be innocent. Mob justice is short on the investigative side.

That said, a frying pan would hold the heat better than a spatula, and would have burned this worthless motherf&cker more deeply. Hot oil would keep the burn going. And I would have done his eyes as well.

Pardon my limited sympathy for a long-term, admitted-in-court child rapist.

I think that the need to overhaul the Criminal Justice system. With all the reality shows and what not we should make it a contest. Kinda like Running Man. Have the really bad prisoners, murders, rapists, molesters ect fight it out for the prize of freedom. However we still execute them at the end and no one will ever know the difference. It would be a huge hit on TV. We could have Regis host "Who Wants to be a Free Man?"

Any of you notice that he plead GUILTY?

It was a fitting punishment, now he will endure years of jailhouse justice, hopefully he gets murdered in a VERY viscious way.

how is he out on the streets if he is currently serving a life sentence for murder? theres several discrepencies in this article that seems a bit odd.....

1st offense - lengthy jail term (hard labour)
2nd offense - mandatory castration + lengthy jail term
3rd offense - slave labour camp for life

I'm not a fan of the death penalty, or jails as they exist. I'd rather see prisoners become a slave labour pool for government projects. It's easy to guard a prisoner after they've worked a 12-hour shift digging ditches, or a 16-hour shift picking trash along the highway. If they behave well, then give them some skills training, or let them be the 'lead hand' on a crew.
