Child Custody Advice & Help

I need any help or advice from someone who has been through this. Where to start and resources.

Please help.

I am the father. Have been paying child support since 1998. All back support finally paid off. All payments are current.

Have not seen daughter since she was 3 1/2 she is now 16.

I am in Nevada, she is in Washington.

Her mother is abusive and negligent as far as I have heard in a recent phone call with her aunt. I was just told her mother forced my 16 year old daughter to sleep with one of her boyfriends.

Eeeek! I am lost and my daughter needs my help.

I know you all can help.

That is a given.

Best thing would be to contact a social services for the state.

Let them take the lead. As long as they know your are around, then if the state takes action, the girl would be turned over to you if the mother is determined to be unfit.

The turnover could be immediate but temp until a court hearing.

Take your Ex to court your daughter is old enough were her testimony will be definately taken into concideration.


You have not seen your daughter in 12 years? 🙁 I feel your pain ...I have not seen my son in 4 years.

Sorry to hear your update...definitely talk to the PD and social services in her area...get your daughter away from that place.
