Child car seats...

my fiance and I have been discussing if its ok to put a car seat in the front seat of a car. oh yeah, this is only an issue b/c the car only has two seats, otherwise we'd obviously put it in the back seat.

trying to find out for future reference, buying a car now, kids later.

This case is cause for a RTFM.

I know, I know. I tried to convince my honey that I really needed a brand new S2000. Didn't work.

"but honey, you get the mini van and it all works out perfectly"

but seriously. You should be able to disable the airbag and kiddo will be fine.

You're the MD, why don't you borrow a baby from the adoption agency to find out?

oh yeah forgot to include that in the post

the air bag would obviously be turned off.

also, doesnt specifically say in manuals if its cool or not. its a not touched upon subject.

without an airbag its just as safe as in the back seat provided they are correctly put in.
