Child abuse, or just plain idiocy?

Sluggo

Lifer
I saw a guy today driving a mid 90's Suburban that was pretty much "tricked out" 20" rims, clear tail lights etc.
Needless to say he has the thumping stereo ( the kind you feel @100yards away) cranked up really loud. Nothing unusual you say?

In the back seat were 2 kids, under 5 years old. Besides giving the poor kiddies eardrums a beating, he had neglected to even have them in child seats, or even belted in for that matter.

I see idiots all the time with the kids not in the child seat, but they generally arent in the process of ruining their kids hearing at the same time.

So is he just a typical idiot, or guilty of abusing his children?

Both! I have nothing against subs, I'll be getting them myself pretty soon, but bass isn't exactly good for fully developed ears and I can't imagine what it does to developing ears.

What a tard. I swear, people need to be screened or something before having kids. The people who pass get the sweet sweet pootie. The people who fail.. *snip snip*

Yeah, I had no problems with the guy until I saw the kids in the back.

He is lucky my Mom or Sister didnt see him, he would have gotten a major ass chewing. 😛

I see kids all of the time scrambling around in cars, standing up. I see car with NO brake lights. And what happens? I get pulled over for having one headlight out. (had been out <24 hours and I just hadn't made it to Autozone yet)

I saw a mom pull up in a parking lot today with her car stereo volume set to 11 with a 5 year old girl in the back seat.

Amazing how ignorant people are in the quest to be cool....

i'd say both!!

one time, i saw this woman driving her car with her toddler also behind the wheel while the other 2 boys are playing at the back seat. I was looking for a police car at that moment!:| although there was no loud music involved.

Child abuse. I hope you got his plate number. If you did give it to the cops. Or better yet, post it here.
