I never thought they were anything special, but ATOT doesn't need a good reason to like any particular restaurant. The chicken at KFC is 10x better, and it mostly gets put down by this crowd.
my friend from NC got so excited that its opening in CA. My other friend on the east coast said that he'd trade 5 Guys and Chick-fil-A for In-n-Out. Except too bad 5 Guys is in CA now too.

As good as some places are, if it came down to where I only had 1 place to eat in my area. It would be In-N-Out by about 9000.
In-N-Out is number 1 for me, but Chik fil a is a close 2nd because the salads are so good.
Out here we have a lot of taco bells that have pizza huts in them. I think INN + CFA should merge and do the same. They're both have kick ass food and are both ran by people who are highly religious.
That might be the greatest idea I've ever had.

Do they recite their corporate handbook to you when you walk in to be served?
Do their employees try to convert you while you stand inline?
Do the play gospel music on their radio if you dine in?
I recall their sign did say simply, "Closed on Sundays," but many places have that posted on their hours.
:\
if you mean they were owned by the religion fairy decades ago.... then yes.. i guess so?
geeze... you catholic/christian nutbags are as bad as neckbeard and his "british/english" crap
How did a thread about fast food devolve into religious shenanigans?
"Do everything you do as if unto the Lord." How dare they live by their religious virtues! No
Kinda. The one I usually go to has religious groups including the store owner holding get togethers during the lunch rush on a regular basis and just a couple of weeks ago the owner sat one of her employees down in the booth behind me and they had a discussion about her work ethic representing a crisis of faith...
No, they blast a christian rock station all day long. The idea of christian "rock" is just ridiculous to me in the first place, plus they play it too loud.
...
While that would be awesome, indeed, they are both also privately owned, so it would never happen![]()
I have never had dried out chicken at any chick-fil-a I've been to.
No

I believe this is a nefarious marketing technique based on the number of times Ive craved a sandwich only to realize it's Sunday... damnit!
CFA is a good company. They tend to at least marginally care for their employees, their food is solid, though the menu is limited and pricey, the stores are clean, and the people are friendly. I eat there regularly, but I do wish they'd cut the cornball music off. That really is ridiculous, regardless of your faith. If it was top 40, I'd still find it annoying, though admittedly less so.
PS - Wendy's spicy chick > CFA, though the quality has fallen off.

we get it... you dont like religious folks and their values.
,... and religious folks don't like other people,.... http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/30/us/30chick.html?_r=1&pagewanted=1&src=twrhp
sounds more to me that gays dont like jesus chicken... not jesus chicken doesnt like gays.
But Douglas Quint, a concert bassoonist who operates The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck in New York during the summer, said he believed that people should make informed decisions about their food.
“It literally leaves a bad taste because I know the people who are putting this food in my mouth actively loathe me,” he said. “I’m all for freedom of religion, it’s just that I know where I want my money to go and I don’t want my money to go.”
By that logic, I can buy bullets, give them to some one with a gun and when he shoots you; I am not liable in any way shape or form. I just gave him bullets - how was I to know he would shoot you. I mean, I knew he had a gun. And I know that guns kill people,...

They're not putting the food in your mouth. You are! People at McDonalds and Burger King loathe you too because they have to do work. Luckily Chick-fil-a will do it with a fucking smile and not ask for your jesus card. Well if you know where you don't want your money to go, don't go to Chick-fil-a! Buy from someone else.
