My best guess is they merged so Newegg could have a shipping location on the East Coast. Didn't Chief Value used to list their address as New Jersey?

Newegg bought New Jersey, and it came along with the package. 😀

But they normally have the same prices or around the same...

I don't get it 🙁

You see, when you reach a certain % of market share, you can't efficiently increase it. By starting a shell company with another name, you can take up market share with that.

you're right...newegg has screwed over people before, and it has been documented. I still use them, but I have read the bad stories....

so, they know they can't get those customers back. That's why they created a new company so that others will buy from them without knowing they're buying from them....genius! 😀 ethically, sux though :|
