I am looking for a slide in filter for my chieftec server case. I think it's the dragon series. Whatever matches the antec 10x0 series. I ordered what I thought was going to be the right one from antec but when I tried lining it up it was a hair to wide and the slots don't match up.

Can anybody who has ordered a filter for this explain what antec case they told the customer service rep they have? I imagine if I tell them it's a chieftec they will say call them.

FS - 1 antec slide in front filter.

I just put in a cheapo $2 air conditioner filter (the really small kind that can catch pollen) and it's working great. It's not slide in though, I had to take the front of my case off...

I couldn't find one for mine either but here's what i did.

I bought one of those poster boards that is thick and made out of sort of cardboard that kids use for their reports. I cut it down to the size of the area for the filter and then cut two windows inside of it (2 windows rather than 1 to keep it fairly strong). Then i just took a fabric softener and stapled it outside of those two windows and slid the filter up. Works great so far. It's really hard to find a retail filter unless you get an antec case, not one of the clones.

Hit up Walmart and buy some Web Register Filters.. cost about $3 and will in there perfect just cut off the excess.. trust me it'll work better than the Antec front filters anyway..

That's actually a pretty good idea...

I do some work for a company that produces spun-bond textiles... instead of being woven, they're kinda just pressed together... the same fabric that they make goes into fabric softner sheets, filters, diapers, feminine hygiene products :0 , and resperators... not a bad idea at all :)
