I have two cases that I can order, a black chieftec Sx1000 (the Antec SOHO tower with door on drives etc.) and a beige Antec Sx1000 (same exact case design). I would rather have the case prepainted black, but I am wondering is there a difference between the antec and chieftec cases? I believe that antec just buys the chassis off of chieftec and adds their own powersupply, correct? I am not ordering PSUs so that is not an issue.

I think the quality is the same. Chieftec uses Enermax psu's, while Antec uses Antec (obviously). Both are awesome PSU's.

<< Going to go for the Black chieftec. Getting it at newegg for 50$, is a steal. >>

But for $20 more, you get a 300 watt enhance psu!

I got a chieftec from newegg and love it, only problem was that it was missing one drive rail. I e-mailed chieftec and got a response the same day saying they would send teh replacement part. Not only did it come air mailed from taiwan in under a week, they also gave me two drive rails instead of one.

In short, Chieftec rocks.
