Got me one!

Actually, according to the Newegg receipt I got mine at 5:37pm Phoenix time. I was on it like... well, you know. It's too late now.

I have a bunch of Chieftec and Antec cases from newegg refurb section, three aluminum, some with and some without PSU, all between $30 and $50. Now get this -- if this is the only case you'll get, you are gambling because some are damaged, some missing rails, some have broken standoffs on the front cover, some have other physical defects. Some are just perfect, no problem at all. I got three with windows, and ... knock on wood ... nothing wrong with windows. But if you miss a part like rails, believe me it will be hard to find.

Newegg does not get these from manufacturer, they get them from ABS and Nutrend, their sister companies. The cases are one way or another unfit for ABS/Nutrend and that is why newegg sells them as "refurbished."

I thought Nutrend had to have something in common with newegg because they use the same checkout and notification that newegg does ... exactly the same ... they have the same quality service as newegg .. but I dont know about thier RMA service, my product was shipped just fine.

I managed to get one. $40 with a 450 W power supply. and free shipping... The one I received was Brand New. Not a scratch on it. I guess I was pretty lucky!

no you're not lucky. i've seen the antec SX1040 with 430W tru power $59 shipped

you just need to sit there for 3 hours and wait for the refurb to start then put in CC info like insane

and would everyone stop posting newegg refurbs. it's pretty much posting that you can get lucky 7's in a casino and win a million. everyone knows that
