Amazing, winning with the Patriots (good O-line & excellent receivers) is a far cry from winning with the Chiefs. I hope KC doesn't regret this.

More likely for Cassel to regret it, and Vrabel to be just generally pissed off about being with KC.

Fixed for Cassel will be in mortal peril behind KC's offensive line.

For 10 million a year, I"m sure he'll have very few regrets. ;)

For New England supposedly having a good offensive line, they gave up a lot of sacks last year (11 more than the Chiefs ). Fact is New England's line had plenty of issues as well, and Cassel still played well.

I hope Cassel got dental insurance in the negotiations.... :D

$15 million for him is pretty good coin....I just don't know if he's worth it. The only thing I remember about Kansas City's passing offense was Tony Gonzalez(TE) and he was traded to the Falcons this year. Without him around, I have a feeling Matt's going to be passing to the fans, to the ground, and to the other team before he hits any of his teammates in the numbers.

I put alot of that on Cassel though because he was so raw and inexperienced at the beginning of the season. The Chiefs line is just bad though and, as mentioned, he's not going to have near the quality of receivers that he had in NE.

I hope the best for him though because the Chiefs are one of my favorite NFL teams.

At least he has Dwayne Bowe to throw to... he could be an elite receiver in the future. Small glimmer of hope for Chiefs fans

In other news, I was very excited when I saw that Buffalo gets to play KC for the second year in a row

I'm really hoping the organization changes will help steer this team in a positive direction. I don't have unrealistic hopes, but it will be interesting to see what Haley does with these guys.

He is a very mobile and athletic QB though, hopefully this works to his advantage in KC. Awesome job by him last season considering his lack of playing time at NE..

Yeah, but the Chiefs had Thigpen, I don't know that you can get more raw and inexperienced than him. Keep in mind the Chiefs had a rookie left tackle and none of the guys who were starters had played together before (oh and they had injuries as well), so I doubt they'll as bad as last year. They definitely still need some help, but even if they're just as good as last season, that'd be better protection than Cassel got last season.

We can only wait and see if Cassel is worth the money. I don't expect him to be legendary, but I do think he will be worth it (even if he is getting paid more than Tom Brady who is severely underpaid).

KC was fucked either way. Sign a 1 yr deal and risk losing him or paying out the ass next year or sign a long term deal

Tyler thigpen seemed to be coming along nicely. I don't understand this move at all.
