Meh, my site's bandwidth is shot, but here's a new recipe: (having it for lunch!)

Chicken Stuff Salad

Chicken Stuff Salad is made with salad and Chicken Stuff. To make it, you first have to make Chicken Stuff, a recipe from my mother-in-law. You'll need:

1. A can of chicken. It's like a can of tuna, but with chicken in it. They sell them in large and small cans. You can get a couple of sandwiches and a salad out of a big can.
2. Mayonnaise. If you like the sweeter taste, get Miracle Whip. Don't use Cool Whip.
3. Mustard, optional.
4. Salt
5. Pepper
6. Season All - a type of seasoning. It has paprika and some other stuff in it. Kind of reddish-orange.

To make the Chicken Stuff, first get the can of chicken and squeeze as much water out of it as possible. The mayonnaise is going to make the stuff mushy as it is and you don't want it water-logged. I usually take the lid of the can and push it down into the chicken over the sink, then squeeze the chicken by hand and put in it a bowl. Next, get fork and mash the chicken up so it's not so chunky. Now add a big spoonful of mayonnaise and mix it in. You may want more or less mayonnaise depending on your taste buds, so play with it. Think of it like making a tuna sandwich with mayo - you want it with that kind of consistancy. Now add a squirt of mustard if you want. It's not required, but it helps add a bit of flavor in. Next add in some salt and pepper, just a few dashes, and put in some Season All. I usually put in about three times as much Season All than salt and pepper, but give it a taste test as you're mixing until it tastes good to you. That's it! If you feel like making a sandwich, just get a couple of slices of bread or a bagel and plop it on. Make sure you cover the entire piece of bread with chicken stuff and make it thick enough so that it's not a wimpy sandwich.

Okay, now that you've made your Chicken Stuff, you can make the salad. I first prep salads by mixing the parts. I like to buy a bag of the veggie salad, which has stuff like lettuce, sliced carrots, etc., and then a seperate bag of baby spinach. Get a big zip-lock bag and mix the veggie salad and baby spinach together. You might want to take a Sharpie and write the expiration date on the bag so you don't forget. Good things to add are sliced cucumbers, broccoli, etc. The more greenish stuff the healthier it is for you.

Now, get your salad bowl and put your salad mix in it. I like blue cheese in my salad, so I buy small containers of blue cheese chunks (not the liquid salad dressing kind, but the stuff that's just like crumpled up cheese...it's usually in the salad section). After I toss in some blue cheese, I take some Chicken Stuff and break it apart with my hands over top of the salad. Put as much as you like on it, then wash your hands as it'll be goopy. I like to cover the top pretty well; this way there's enough chicken but it doesn't overwhelm the salad. Then drizzle your favorite dressing over it. I am a big fan of Ranch dressing. Ta-da! You've just made yourself a healthy, yummy salad.

Cliff's Notes:
1. Make Chicken Stuff
2. Prep salad mix
3. Get a bowl, put salad mix in it, toss in blue cheese if you like it
4. Put Chicken stuff and dressing on top
5. Enjoy!

Hey, this is coming from me, a guy who has never had control over his diet. I eat out way too much and I don't know how to cook nearly as well as I should. Oh, and this IS healthy compared to what I normally eat, lol.
