Chicken or Steak?

Chicken:

Much cheaper, healthier, easier to prepare, and you can do more things with it. I like steak, but if I had to choose just one for the rest of my life and never eat the other, I'd go with chicken.

i like steak better ... but for the reasons that the wise posters above me listed, i know i am better of with chicken.

hard to decide which is best? The answer is easy. Just combine chicken and steak and enjoy a taste sensation that will leave you satisfied.

Mmmm...

Depends. Panda Express' fried orange chicken is awesome but so a nice steak grilled with the family. However, steak wins for being a cow product.

Steak

Chicken can be better only if you know how to prepare it.
Lemon chicken on the grill is great.

The only problem with steak is sometimes you get a bad cut, especially at the supermarket. When you get a good cut though, nothing beats a great steak with a baked potato

Nothing besides a bit of pepper/salt (grilled of course).

I don't eat it often...don't get me wrong, but I definitley think that it tastes better. Basically what I am saying, is that if ones diet is equal in all other areas besides which meat they consume more often (chicken or steak), I think it isn't THAT big of a deal.

Now if ones family is already predisposed to heart disease or high cholesterol, then maybe it wouldn't be wise.

The reason steak tastes better (nowadays) is mostly because the animals have been bred to produce copious "marbling". That is, bred to produce a lot of fat inbetween all the meat. This is also why modern American beef is much worse for you than American beef 100 years ago. That said, I actually prefer the taste of chicken and other white meat. Pork is another thing entirely though, and incidentally considerably more healthy than beef as well.
