I've never given it a second thought that they were Christian, which I knew. Loving and socially tolerant Christians are fine, fine people with whom I have zero problem. Jesus was about acceptance and inclusion. He was an activist liberal progressive, you know.

It's the dark, angry, cramped, ugly, old-testatment based hypocrite haterz that can go fuck themselves, imho.

So, if true, I am sad that the owner gives to Focus on the Family,
which is an intolerant, gay-bashing, right-wing political action group. I hope he doesn't give a major amount.

From everything I know, I don't think Focus is the owners' major, errr, focus. It seems he is more a humble, true Christian in my eyes.

CFA is at the apex of fast food restaurants of its type for quality of food and quality of service. The extra expense is well worth it. I will continue to eat there when the mood and opportunity strikes, which is not often, as I am not a big fast food guy of any type.

This, exactly.
I never gave a shit that they were Christian oriented, outside of the fact that it eliminated my potential Sunday Chik Fil-A consumption...

but learning that they donate to Focus on the Family...completely changes things for me.

Hell, our family was banned form eating from Dominos back in the day (rabidly pro-life founder) and Burger King (clearing swaths of rain forest for their beef--now no longer an issue).

Really? I just eat the damn food. Don't really care who, what, where, or when they do with their side time.

Same. As long as their proceeds dont go to the KKK or Hezbollah or some shit then I could care less what they do with their profits.

Nick1985, would you say it is better than Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich?, which in my opinion, is the gold standard for spicy chicken sandwiches.

Yes. I consider myself a spicy chicken sandwich expert, and although the Wendy's is good, the CFA one is in a league of its own.

By a mile. The CFA sandwich is spicier, juicier, has a better coating, and CFA's bun is better than Wendy's.

I'm addicted. Best fast food restaurant ever. Spicy chicken sandwich = amazing.

:awe:

I'm sorry and my condolences. Using the words "best" and "fast food" is an oxymoron.

You have good taste ...

The CFA in my lobby offers two Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, hereinafter "SCS."

The first SCS is the sandwich with pickles only.
The second, or deluxe SCS included the lettuce, tomatos and your choice of american, or pepperjack cheese.

However more pricey, i chose the latter and removed the the tomato. It was probably the best SCS i've had in a long time. Will definatly go back, likely tomorrow.

P.S. i got the "buffalo sauce" to dip my waffle fries into. And a coke. :awe:

Yes, I go for the deluxe. I get mine with lettuce, the pepperjack cheese, and ketchup. Amazing.

Thanks for the heads up on the buffalo sauce, I didn't know that. I dip my McDonald's fried in buffalo sauce too. I'll have to get the from now on.

Glad that you enjoyed for chick-fil-a experience.

I got a free CFA sandwich today. They're opening one down the street from my office and they're handing out sandwiches for the next two days. It was delicious, and I will return as a paying customer. Of course, I was going to do that anyway because I already knew how much I loved their sandwiches and nuggets. Once a week won't kill me.

Technically it's not fried at KFC- it's pressure cooked :)

you know nothing.

KFC is absolutely NOT fried chicken. fucking horrible.

Popeyes is a joke.

Bojangles is the gold standard. no question.

Churches is good.

also--I moved out of Chik Fil-A range before they offered the spicy chicken sandwich. This saddens me, as my overall favorite FF item has been the Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. I must try this, now. :(

Wow. What kind of brainwashing did your parents experience?

They hate people who believe life starts at conception?

It was my pleasure.

Most people, me included, don't give two fucks if 1)Chick-fil-a is 60 cents more expensive than McDonalds or whatever and 2)that the founder is religious. Listen, the food fucking rocks, the workers say "my pleasure" after everything and are super nice, and they come to my table and refill my damn drink. I've never had a bad meal at Chick-fil-a. Every single time I've eaten there my sandwich is hot and fresh, my fries are fresh and if I order a salad it's crisp and fresh. I don't care if Jesus himself brought my spicy chicken sandwich out and they raised the prices 50 cents across the board, I'm eating there.

this line killed me...hilarious

I had them cater my "leaving the department" happy hour and they made chicken minis for me at 5 PM (normally a breakfast item). I love CFA.

BTW, if you haven't had chicken minis they are even better than the biscuits (if that's possible). Chicken nuggets in yeast rolls...incredible.

Chick-Fil-A contributes to "Crisis Pregnancy Centers" here in NYC, which are all about convincing young women not to have abortions through sometimes disgustingly deceptive practices, like telling them abortions cause breast cancer, or that they'll have major psychological issues afterwards.

A lot of em don't even disclose that they're not genuine medical facilities unless you ask em.
