A Chick-fil-A employee lost his job and a customer was arrested after the pair got into an intense brawl inside the Washington, D.C., fast-food restaurant — and the fight was caught on camera.

The skirmish took place Tuesday when a 55-year-old man, identified by police as Sean Turner, allegedly began shouting at other patrons and went behind the counter, WTTG-TV reported. The customer was asked to leave by an employee, but he allegedly threw a punch in response, according to a police report provided to Fox News.

The unnamed 27-year-old employee and Turner then began to fight. In a viral video shared on social media, the employee is seen punching Turner several times in the head. Other employees and customers apparently attempted to intervene as well.

Turner was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and was charged with simple assault, police said.

The employee was not arrested, but he is no longer employed at Chick-fil-A, a spokesperson told Fox News.

Updated video since original doesn't work anymore and wasn't on YT when I originally posted:

Employee should be arrested too. That went far beyond self defense or defense of others.

not really - old man got up, wanted to post up again, AND got a chair.
lol reminds me of a stabbing in my/my parents old neighborhood. Guy shows up with a knife to stick some guy. Guy runs into his house, comes out with sword and stabs the 1st guy. There's a lesson in there somewhere. :D

Never bring a knife to a sword fight? Stab first and stab often?

Did you not see the part where the old dude picked up the chair to go after him? Was he supposed to hit him once, let him regain his composure and go after him again, hit him again, rinse wash and repeat?

Free chicken nuggets for everyone in the restaurant during the incident.

Very true, plus you know they are going to try to be as close to the action as possible to film it on their phone so they can post it to their social media.

I still think that we need to start beating up people who post fight videos filmed vertically, and then posting THOSE beatdowns on Worldstar.

I can't think of a better way of training them :)
Lost cause but kicking their asses is quite fun.

Damn that is one ghetto Chic-Fil-A - whenever I'm at ones local all I see is the place packed with moms with 2-3 young kids at all the tables. I couldn't imagine fights like that happening without kids getting hurt.

I would expect something like this to happen at a McD or BK, but def not CFA.

I'm not advocating vertical videos, but it is easier to hold the phone that way, and in the heat of the moment, it's just the quickest, natural way to start shooting a video.

Hell no. If you start a physical fight, you waive the right to be declared a victim. Don't start a fight if you don't want your ass beat.

Agreed. Self-defense isn't limited to just when they fall on the ground - it's when you feel they are safely subdued and no longer attacking you. Based on the stupid fuck getting up and indicating he wanted to keep going, if anything he didn't do enough.
