Chicagoland LAN

Anyone in the Chicagoland area intersted in organizing a LAN? I'm willing to help where I can, but wanted to know if people in the are would go or not. I got people I can bring, and I think it has potential.

I'm interested...I typically host at my house..but I can probably up the size of the venue depending on interest. but that'd be over winter break for me

I live downtown but I'm willing to truck it out somewhere within an hour or two's drive.

EDIT: I live in a studio, so my place is too small for a group.

we are thinking downtown or therabouts. It seems like most are on the South Side, but are willing to drive. If anyone can provide a location, that would help a lot!!

Id say FPS games, but Im open to anything ppl bring

I tend to prefer FPS, but I'm willing to get my butt handed to me in an RTS.

Just give me some advance warning so I can practice.:evil:

Maybe if we could all post our approximate location we could find the best area to host the LAN.

Me -> Downtown Chicago north of the Loop. But I spend a lot of my weekends down south in Frankfort (by the World Music Theater or whatever it's called nowadays).

yeah, thats near me, but like I said, we need to work out a location first. If anyone is big with their church or something, they are usually nice to donate their gym space or soemthing
