Chicago - United Center - concert experiences?

I'm going to see Roger Waters in June. How are the seats on the main floor for concerts? Would it be better to get seats in the elevated sections on the sides? I'm not sure I want to stand all night, having to shuffle back and forth just to see the stage. I was pretty impressed with the United Center for the last Bulls game...clean, lots of room, etc.

I would love to hear about your concert experiences there.

i've read that the acoustics in the UC are not great. however I am not an audiophile nor have I ever been to a concert there, so I wouldn't know.
