Go to http://map.snapchat.com. Tons of snaps are of looting happening. This isn't downtown, it's in neighborhoods of working, middle, and upper class folks. Nearly all of the grocery stores by me have been hit. Liquor stores, best buy, Target, etc.

So far, quiet down here. Nothing (rioting, burning, and looting) that I know of from Austin, Houston or New Orleans. Of course, it can change anytime. I was about to say Dallas but I stand correct.

Houston had 2 or 300 people (depending on what news media is reporting) that were arrested the other day for the violent protests and looting

This violence and destruction has to stop. It's turning people against your cause and this horrible injustice of Floyd's death. It's allowing a fascist like Donald Trump up on his soapbox. Trump now has the perfect diversion from his incompetence. He will use this to push his law and order politics and stoke his base and rebuild his failing and flagging reelection campaign. This looks like juvenile howling of policing in general. Bringing chaos to exhausted neighborhoods already reeling from COVID19 and the economic shutdown. Knock it the fuck off

Rallying his base won’t win him reelection. So him adding fuel the fire is just digging him a larger hole. But like school shootings that were supposed to help energize the youth to vote, will this make a difference in November in turnout?

I won't argue that what happened in Minnesota wasn't horrible, because it absolutely was, but some of the ensuing events are totally inexcusable.

Looters and arsonists are pussies who only have their strength because of mob mentality. It's happening in Boston, too... every scumbag in the area is using the events as an excuse to do scumbag things. It's one thing to start a peaceful protest, even a right, but there's an obvious problem when thugs and asshats rally alongside valid activism.

Joke is ultimately on them, though, because taxpayer money is gonna be required in order to pay for all the damage. People are idiots, always have been and that will never change.

You don't think a swing voter or two might be turned off by all the looting and burning? That's why Trump pouring gasoline on this situation may well benefit him. The more theft and destruction (with a bonus for death) that goes on, the more he can claim to be the "law and order" guy who will protect us against the [brown] barbarian hordes. Just like he was going to build a wall to protect us from another barbarian horde. Trump uses fear to get votes.

Something else which may well ad gasoline to this. Taking videos of cop cars moving at 1 MPH through crowds because they're surrounded and claiming they are "plowing into" (plowing means to "move fast and in uncontrolled manner") or even "running over" people when there is no evidence of injury let alone death. It's supplying more grievance to fuel more rage. The media is doing it, especially CNN. Again, down the stretch if it makes the rioting even worse, it helps Trump.

How to lose an election again after not learning your lesson in 2016, by eelw.

ding ding ding. This guy gets it.

One side is sticking to "defending the nation" narrative along with the "Hurt and kill the bad guys". The majority of Americans don't want to see burning buildings, cars lit on fire, and their places of work/businesses/restaurants being torn and destroyed from their front doorsteps. That (rightfully) scares the shit out of them. He is going to drive that point him times a million and there are plenty of people that will align with it.

President pussy hiding in his bunker. Lol, imagine the cuck you'd have to be to vote for that guy. Like, you'd have to have absolutely no dick at all. Just standing there watching a guy go to town on your wife. Of course, that's what his base is, so they'll have no problem voting for him.

Yes, people who place property above human life are like that.

Here in Phoenix, we now have an 8pm curfew and most malls were closed yesterday. Alot of looting and destruction, BUT alot of peaceful protesters as well. My neighbor, an MCSO sheriff, said there were about 200 arrests last night.

I was in Phoenix in June a few years back. It's hotter than hades down there, like Africa hot. That cannot be a good thing for tamping down rage.

I'm all for bashing Trump being a shit person and/or pussy... but... My general understandings of presidents is that they do what they are told in regards to what the secret service advises them.

Maybe I'm wrong though.

Economics directly correlates with human lives, dumb dumb.

But like I said, keep on the virtue signaling as if you care about people. Make sure a dollar to the 20 hobos you pass by every day. I'm sure you're making a difference bud.

You voted for it!

You wanted him to burn it down so now take it like you wanted in 2016!
