I've ridden that line a few times... I always wondered why they didn't just make the track in a circuit. Those big stoppers at the end of the line didn't work so great...Casey Jones went all the way to the escalators...

Making the track a loop isn't trivial. It would take a lot more space to make a closed loop and you would potentially lose the terminal aspect that the current setup has (eg multiple tracks in the station filtering into two running lines)

I know what you're saying. I've been on a lot of trains in Europe and have been around a lot of trainyards. I totally get how they throw banks of switches in and can have trains departing and leaving and loading all at the same time.

I was just thinking about the monorails at Disney when I typed that.... :D
