Thinking of taking in a movie and a beer tonight with a friend, but I'm not so sure she's keen on the Fantastic Four. Any other venues with cinema and alcohol in Chicago?

In Downers Grove/Woodridge(West Burbs) there is a theater at 75th and Lemont road called Hollywood Cinema(I think). They show movies that are just released and you can order dinner plus beer or hard stuff also.

At Yorktown theaters in Lombard they have a "Premium" cinema where all of the seats are plush leather seats and you can order dinner and have drinks there also.

Those are the only ones that I am aware of.

As cjcjaps said, there is the Premium screen at the AMC Yorktown.

I'd personally be more inclined to the Hollwood. I hear good things.

Edit: Also, the Vic is a pit to see a movie in. I've gone to too many concerts there.

Wow, the Yorktown is also showing Elizabethtown.


I saw Sin City at the Vic, I actually don't mind the venue. Maybe she'll go for the F4, at least it's much closer (for her) than the other two places.
