I didn't win anything (thanks to the number 2).
Do you guys think that AMD got as much $hit from other cities as they did from us? We were harsh on them man.
anyway, just rambling cuz i still haven't slept, and speaking of which, I should go do that now.

My wife and I froze our ass off there as well. We slept about 3.5 hours last night and drove about an hour there. She didn't dress warm enough because I didn't spell it out to her that we would be outside for a while. Actually I did not expect to be there that long, as many did/did not.

It was a nice gesture/promotion on AMD's part. Too bad we didn't win anything though. The crowd did seem brutal... dam.

It really sucks that so many people had mutiple tickets. :disgust:
But I suppose I shouldn't be suprised. Chicago has to be one of the most corrupt cities in the country.

As I said before, I didn't even go, but the guys over in the Hot Deals thread explained what happened. When you go through the line, they give you a ticket and mark your hand with a marker. The marker shows that you got a ticket already. Well, some people washed off the marker and went through another line, since they had several.
One guy said that someone near him in the crowd had close to 10 tickets.

hehe, yeah, I read the frisby. I even got the chance to throw it (read hit someone in the head with it :Q) I was there with a big group of people (12 of us), so it wasn't THAT bad, although it took my body the whole drive home to reach it's normal temperature again. 2 of my buddies won it, so I don't see the trip as being a complete waste.

I was serious when I asked this... does anyone have a schedule/calendar of when/where AMD is gonna be? I wanna go! Lubbock or Amarillo, Texas would be perfect (about 1.5hr from lubbock, 20min from amarillo )
