LOL! That plant looks like a dungeon compared to those I have visited in Germany...Transparent Factory anyone?

We Americans are so second...third class.

that factory is used to make the Phaeton, IIRC, which is basically the VW version of an Audi A8.

The volt will be a mass-market vehicle (relatively speaking)

I am guessing he is talking about the VW plant that builds the Phaeton. Haven't heard horror stories about that particular VW :biggrin:

not too many wanted to spend $100k on a VW, but apparently VW is reintroducing it to the us market.
