I hope this deal is legit (being offered and honored by Chevrolet) because "test drive for GCs" is probably the easiest money you can make. 8 out of 10 times you don't even have to test drive a car, walk in, show them the form, be honest and say that you don't want to waste anyone's time, they thank you for being honest, sign the form, boom badda bing you're outta there within 2 minutes. You just earned a free $50 GC for 2 minutes of work, talk about hard labor!

Read mossie's post in this thread, what do you guys think about the validity of this test drive offer?

I did the test drive the very last day Monday 1/15, and haven't mailed my forms in yet.

Getting a free $50 BestBuy.com GC for 5 SECONDS of work is what I call a hot deal.

I mailed mine out on time and haven't heard anything back yet either. Supposedly they were going to send back a form for me to choose where I wanted my GC to and then I had to send that back to actually get the card. So far I have nothing.

BTW, the dealer I went to, I handed the sales manager the form and he very friendly asked "Are you even the slightest bit interested in purchasing a tracker?" "Nope." "Thanks. I'll just fill this out then and you can be on your way." "Works for me."

So, I got nothing to complain about if this falls through.

BTW, I still haven't received my GC or ANYTHING from Chevy Either...no wonder they make crappy vehicles (yes..a GENERAL statement) and only my opinion.

:disgust: The Stoggie old suits at G.M.'s have to be worried,what with the lots full and very few buyers coming in at 0% interest in some cases.The Economy is in the tank and layoffs increasing every week,so look for more of these "deals" to lure potential buyers onto their lots in future.

This is the reason I love cars so much. In the five years that I have been reading this site, I have gotten:
$50 (2) CDnow GCs from Oldsmobile to get DVDs
$50 (2) CDuniverse GCs from Saturn
$50 SuperCertificate from GM
Swiss Army watch from Nissan
Palm Pilot from Nissan

I mailed my forms in on the last day, 1/22 I think. It's only been 3 weeks so far. I'll give it about 10 weeks before I start calling and bugging them.

I LOVE these test drive deals, easiest money you can make. I have NEVER had to actually test drive a car.

I mailed mine in on 01.15 and still haven't heard back. I thought GM was supposed to send you a coupon &quot;within two weeks&quot; about your choice and then send you the GC after that. Anybody have a contact to write or e-mail to?
