Chevy to Jeep conversion

I have a 94 Jeep wrangler 4cyl., 5 speed manual transmission. I want to put in a Chevy 283 to 305. I havent decided yet what i want, or a 302 Ford ( can i do that?). I just need to know what all I'll need to do to change this over, what all i'll have to change, etc. and an estimated cost of the job.

Go to www.jeepsunlimited.com and post on the BBS there, you'll get more help, you might need an adaptor plate depending on what x-fer case that has.

Te state you live in might be very prohibitive of engine swaps so be sure you check into emissions laws.
