Yeah, I got the old design this week too. I just want a comfortable ride and a decent interior, so the impala does the job. Why don't you like it?

Yeah, I got the old design this week too. I just want a comfortable ride and a decent interior, so the impala does the job. Why don't you like it?

-too much nose dive when braking
-incredibly sloppy and wallowing handling
-worst new car interior quality i have seen in the past decade or so (besides other GM products)
-weak ass engine, no low end torque, no high end pull. (3.4L) Mid range ok, but this merely means the powerband is too narrow. Equivalent model for model, so called american car torque is a largely a myth.
-crappy 4 speed tranny, gear ratios too wide.
-uncomfortable seats
-car has already failed to start once in the 3 days i've had it

The only nice thing I can really say about it is it has that nice american car rumble, but that does me no good if the whole powertrain sucks. I hate the car enough that when i have time, I am gonna go back to the rental place and ask for something like a G6, which is the least atrocious rental car of this size i've driven.
