Chevelle's new album

If any of you are Chevelle fans, get out and buy this CD. It's awesome. I can't stop listening to it. Yes, I downloaded it last night, but only because I already bought it and I'm just waiting for it to ship.

I saw them at Ozzfest a couple years ago. I thought they would suck, but they were way heavier than I anticipated. Bought their second album, I think its really good. I will pick up the new one today when I'm buying the new Shadows Fall (also awesome).

i listend to the CD once through. i enjoyed it, but not as much as the first CD. it usually takes a me a few litenings to to fully appreciate a CD though.

Just bought it at BB for 9.99.

I'll listen to it alot at work tomorrow then let ya know how much I like it. I'm sure I will though I really liked the last album.

I just started listening to it, and I dig it so far.

BUT, did anyone else notice the "FBI Anti-Piracy Warning" that is printed on the back, as well as on the CD itself? WTF, that's way more annoying than explicit lyric stickers. I was gonna pirate this before, but now that I saw this warning twice maybe I won't....😕

is it more TOOL ripoff?

The first cd sounds like a Deftones rip off to me. The Red has the same riff as "Be Quiet and Drive" and since they where a Deftones cover band starting out, it makes sense.

If you are calling "wonder what's next" their first album, then i agree with you. I've only got through the album once, i'm sure it will grow on me after a week or so. Also, i like the version of "Still Running" from The Punisher soundtrack better than the one on this album, but that's not to say this album's version is bad.

Trilks, i noticed the FBI warning right away, I thought it was strange, but at least it wasn't printed on the front of the CD.
