Chess Brain is really starting to BLOW!!!

Buehehehe... You are looking @ Dryyrath's stats, aren't you ?! Stay better with official stats. Minus results are typical in Arachnid stats, LoL!

It's an old issue !!

OK. Looked at Official Stats page and it said no one had produced in 3 days. Yeah, whatever. What's with Rebel Alliance?

Hey BCinSC, sorry to hear about all the problems!!! I've never run Chess Brain, but I'm running DPAD and it's what ur looking for if you wanna have a great time!!! 😀😀😀

My normal project, DF, taxes my work/laptop too much, so I decided to give ChessBrain a try a few days ago. It hasn't done anything in 2 days, though...Switched to SETI for now.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. I'll pull my other machines in the morning - was really killing my F@H stats.

Oh, I will. Was just letting you catch up a bit first. Picked up a couple more dually PII systems cheap.

While it's "not connecting, not getting any work", unless there is a bug in the client you installed, it shouldn't use any CPU power 😕 And therefore shouldn't "really kill" your F@H stats 🙂

I suggest you set it up running again, and point it to a peernode monitor, like i said in my previous post, whether this is mine, or you run one yourself on your PC. This will allow you to keep track of if/when it connects 🙂

I know it sounds contradictory, but it's true. CB steals 99% CPU while processing, albeit only a few seconds at a time. My machine will process a ton, but I do see them forever trying to upload results. It's like the server has only one NIC and it's limited to a few connections. Anyway, I hit Green status again before shutting down. Have just one P2/300 laptop running it now.
